Reviews
Great local food, friendly English speaking staff, reasonable prices. A lot of seafood dishes. The chef has won a lot of national awards with a cuscus dish - a must-try at this place.
I was recommended to go to this restaurant by a local and having checked the reviews I was confident it would not dissapoint.
Unfortunately, I didn't have a great experience. I ordered the octopus salad to start with which was a little small and bland but ok. Then I had Pesto alla Trapanese. The presentation and size of the dish was nothing similar to other guests (seem to be all locals) who ordered a pasta dish , - they were served on a decent plate and nearly double the size. On top of the awful presentation, the dish had hardly any taste.... I ate most of it as I was starving but this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. Overrated place, clearly prefer locals...
Well, I've seen the mixed reviews. One person wrote the wine was not that good - the restaurant is Wall to Wall with the best wines from around the whole of Sicily and I had an excellent bottle of red. For dinner I had the fish couscous with fried squid and shrimp and FRESH fish. There are many tourist traps in and around Trapani and this certainly isn't one of them. Good genuine food! Thank you!
Great couscous, pasta, wine, and decorations. Reservations recommended.
Sublaim athmosphere and wine quality! I suggest this place with all my hearth, especially the typical italian location
Unfortunately we had aperetivos first so we only had mains, but I would have loved to have a full meal here. We had a mix of meat, fish, pasta and couscous and all were delicious and full of flavor. Good wine recommendations also
We were in Sicily for 2 weeks. This was .... THE BEST .... amazing!! Rating should be better. If we ever have the chance to be back in Trapani, we will go there again for sure!
Local restaurant slightly off the more busy parts of Trapani’s historic centre. Great traditional setting with dolls on display and for sale. We enjoyed the local pasta ‘busiate trapanesi’. Owner is a very experienced and sympathetic cook who is a celebrity, especially in Japan - ask about it!
